On many occassions we are asked to help re-home animals and for one reason or another we can not take them in to our care so this page is for those people who need to rehome the pets and can not get them into any rescue centre.

This is another way NANNA tries to help as we pride ourselves in trying to help ALL animals large or small, but please bear with us this is a new scheme to us and we do our best to keep updated.

Claude and Charlie need a home asap

I need to rehome my 2 male brother cats due to repossession of my house. Both boys are lovely, aged 2 years, fully vaccinated, neutered and chipped. One is tabby and the other jet black. Both loving cats, brought up with 2 children and a dog!

Can you offer these two gorgeous cats a new forever home? 01933 650372 is the number to call if you can.

Pepper and Elliot are looking for a new home

the left one is the female Pepper she is 8yrs old the right one is Elliot he is 4 yrs old the are both house trained  & know how to use the litter tray but both prefer to go outside if possible. They are very affectionate & get on well with each other & the other cats in the street.

The reason I need to re home them is that I am moving in with my girlfriend very soon & she has 3 German wirehaired pointers & we have tried to introduce them on several occasions but have been unsuccessful with every attempt. Especially with Thorne who has a thing about chasing & trying to kill any small animal he see’s.

If you can offer these two beautiful cats a good home please ring 01933 650372 to arrange to come and see them/

Two cats needing to find a loving new home due to owners moving aboard

Here is what the owner has to say:

They are loving cats, each with their own personalities.  We’ve had them from the age of 10wks and would not want to split them at all, therefore if they could be re-homed together.  They will be 5 years old this month.

Herewith a brief description of each cat:

Beebee:  (black and white cat)  She is a real home cat, loves being in the house and loves cuddles on your lap.  She is quite compare to her sister, but a little character in herself. She is loving and true to being cat, she will let you know when she wants attention.

Ishka: (black)  She is a little character, unlike her sister not a “wall flower” by any stretch of the imagination.  She is lively and playful, and loves being around you but not really that keen on the lap.  She is known in the area as the friendliest cat and will run up to you to say hello.

The cats have had all their jabs and all their checkups as instructed once a year.  (we have their vet books to supply)  They have both been neutered and chipped as well.  They are use to using a cat flap and we have no mess in the house.  They eat dry food only, we just leave it out and they eat when they want.

We have a little two year old and the cats have never hurt or scratched him, they are really good.  Ishka will even play with him and allow anything.  Beebee like to sit back and just watch him, but also don’t mind him getting close.

01933 650372 is the number to call if you would like to offer these two pampered cats a home from home.

Bonnie is looking for a new forever home to rest her paws in!

Here's what the people who know her best have to say:

My Nan passed away in early July, leaving Bonnie the short haired cream home alone!

My Mum asked me to email you with a picture of Bonnie (see attached) and a brief description of her so that you can pass any information on to anyone who might want Bonnie as their new companion.

Bonnie is very affectionate and always purring, she is 13 years old and is up to date with all injections needed. She is looking for a new home with someone who likes peace and quiet (Bonnie prefers this too) And preferably with no other pets or young children (as an elderly lady she likes to have lots of naps without being disturbed!)

01933 650372 is the number to call if this is the cat for you..........

Demi need to find a new home soon No longer up for re-homing?

Henry (Head-butt) RE-HOMED

Henry (Headbutt), he did a lot of headbutting before he was neutered, is a loving cat but unfortuantely we have two others and thought that perhaps after a little while they would get along with one another - it doesn't look like it is going to happen.
Henry was in a bit of a sorry state when he turned up and we have since relieved him of his tick problem and his flea problem. We had him tested for Feline HIV and Feline leukemia both came back negative. We have had Henry neutered since.
He is a lovely boy but just cannot get along with one of our other cats and Tax is just being beat up and is now on another course of antibiotics for a wound inflicted in one of there brawls, so I think he would benefit from a home where no other cats live.
He is a bit scared of fast moving legs and feet and he is a bit timid. He loves his food and is very grateful for whatever he gets. I really do hope you can help to find him a new home.

Jessis 12yrs old (female) and Fluffy (for obvious reasons) is 10 year old male, they both have a lovely temprement and have been living alongside both children and a dog for many years. Fluffy much prefers the out door life and Jess is happy just to sit on your lap and be stroked to death. Their owners are moving abroad on the 5th October so they need to find a home soon please help if you can. REHOMED

Their owner would like to keep them with her until they have found the right homes.

CAN YOU OFFER THE RIGHT HOME FOR ANY OF THESE BEAUTIFUL RABBITS

RING NANNA ON 01933 650372 OR EMAIL US AND WE WILL PASS ON YOUR DETAILS.

Sooty is looking for a new forever home (Not Sure what has happened to this little one)!

Here is what his owner has to say about him: Well, he is such a lovely cat, about 7 yrs old. He's been neutered. The vet I have always taken him to is St Peter's Avenue in Kettering. He had a couple of scrapes about a year ago which resulted in him having an operation on his side where he had been bitten quite deep. That's all healed up now but I think he remembers it as he doesn't like to be stroked too much at the site.

He is very affectionate and would be fussed all day if he could! He's fully house trained, cries to go out, cries to come in. He goes out at night but in the winter if it's really cold I keep him in. I have always fed him with either KiteKat or Whiskers (he doesn't like rabbit flavour) along with Whiskers or Felix cat milk.

SMOKEY AND SPARKIE REHOMED

This is Smokey. He wandered into the garden in a very bad state. His fur was matted and full of fleas and he was terrified of humans. It took a long time to gain his confidence but after many months, Smokey allowed the owner to basket him and take him to the vet. He was neutered and injected and his fur was shaved it was so bad. The vet puts his age at roughly 12 now. He is now, after 8 years, a nervous cat who purrs a lot at feeding time but will not be handled and hides if the doorbell rings rather than see people. His whole character points to ill treatment at the hands of man. He is at Irchester Cattery with Mrs Waters at the moment and she can be contacted on 01933 355370 if you want to see him. He lived with Sparkie for 8 years and they would be better kept together. See notes on Sparkie. His 91 year old owner is now in a care home permanently after many operations and illness and he needs someone to love him and feed him for the rest of his life.

Here is Smokey's friend Sparkie!

This is Sparkie. Ten years ago, he was sheltering in the garden, frightened and in a poor state. It took many weeks and much patience to encourage him into the house to feed. He was neutered and injected and gradually became used to the new surroundings. The vet put his age at 4-5 years then which makes him now 14 -15.
He is a nervous cat who likes routine. He does not respond to stroking or cuddling. The elderly lady who looked after him never handled him but he would sit on her lap when he wanted. You cannot get him to do anything he does not want to do. He will hiss as a warning if disturbed. His 91 year old owner is now in a care home permanently after several operations and illness and he needs someone to care for him for the rest of his life. He is with Mrs Waters at Irchester cattery who will allow viewing. Phone 01933 355370.
Two years after he found his home, another cat wandered into the garden in an even worse state. He has lived with this cat for 10 years and to keep them together would be best.
