Bob and Sam need a new forever home together

REHOMED

This huge slobber chops is looking for a gentle home to reflect her nature!

REHOMED

Bayley is looking for a new home due to her owner going to a place she cannot go to.

She is a gentle giant and loves people and cats, but we would advise not small children. Bayley would not hurt them but she may knock them over!

Short walks, but plenty of them is usually the case around the larger breed and if you like my Newfies, then this may be the dog for you without the hair issue!

If you would like to meet the Big Friendly Giant then please ring us on 01933 650372.

Bebe needs to find a new home Rehomed

Being a very large dog, Bebe, needs to find a home with a large garden and someone who likes short walks, but plenty of them a day.

Bebe is a lady around other dogs, she is not bouncy or over energetic, hence lots of short walks. Her owners cannot take her out for walks so she needs to find her new home soon.

Big dogs are usually BFG's and they love and adore their owners and they all enjoy cuddles, so please help Bebe to find a perfect home where she is going to have daily walks and lots of cuddles 01933 650372 is the number to call if you would liketo meet this gentle giant.

Bobby needs his fourth new home! REHOMED

This little man for some reason needs to find a new home.

It looks like it will be fourth home, so it has got to be his forver home.

3.5 years old Westie, he does have some issues! He does not like cats and will chase them if allowed. Also he has biten a child so he would need a home without children and he is not too good around other dogs.

From what we can gather one home he was kenneled most of the day and night, so a loving home with lots of walks for this young man.

01933 650372 is the number to call.

Mason needs to find a new forever home due to illness

REHOMED

Mason needs to find a new home due to illness in the family and they can no longer keep him.

10 month old Mason is a black German Shepherd who get on great with children but would be best older children and not toddlers due to him being a BIG puppy! He is interested in cats but would not hurt them and he seems fine around some dogs but unsure around others.

Mason would need good walks at least twice a day and lots of play whilst walking.

This dog is not looking to be placed as a guard dog, but a family pet, he is loving and will enjoy being part of a fun loving family so if you can offer him a home please ring 01933 650372 to arrange to meet him.

Charlie the Staffordshire bull terrier needs a new home      REHOMED

(Written by owners mother)

Charlie is looking for a new home due to a change in circumstances with his present owner and through no fault of his own. Charlie is 5 years old and has been in the same home since a puppy his owner now travels abroad a lot and we have looked after him for 7 months but are unable to keep him due to 4 Jack Russell's of our own.

He is a very loving dog but needs a knowledgeable home preferable someone who has had a Staffordshire Bull Terrier before. He can be quite boisterous and energetic but has a lovely nature. When Charlie is taken for walks he is kept on his lead in case of encountering other dogs as he has not been socialised with other dogs and requires a home with no other animals. He can be quite strong and pulls when walked. Although he is a friendly dog with people he has not been use to having children around him and therefore would not recommend a home for him with young children.

He would be ideal for a couple or someone living on there own as a companion. He is very loyal and would make someone an excellent companion. Although he is a fit dog he does not require long walks and is happy to be in company. I am sure if he found the right home he would give a lot of pleasure to his new owners.

NANNA has not meet this dog because we have no room to take him in, if you are interested in Charlie then please ring us on 01933 650372 and we will arrange for you to meet him.

BARNEY AND FRED looking for a home together Owners have decided to keep them REHOMED

Ryan needs a home REHOMED

Ryan is a beautiful Rottie who is soft as cheese.

We ahve been and seen him in his own home and he was so chilled out.

Although they love their walks it is better to have short ones but often, rather than long walks. They are strong and powerful but Ryan has had a fantastic loving home and this show in his temperment.

Rotties are beautiful, loyal dogs who get bad press, please don't judge Ryan on what you have heard, go and meet him and then make a judgement call. I know you will fall in love with this very gentle giant. 01933 650372 is the number to call to arrange to meet Ryan

Jack needs a home REHOMED

The owners says:

Jack is about 12 years old is a very loving dog who enjoys cuddles and walks with his owner.  He gets on well with all animals and with children.  He is fully house trained and is an excellent pet.  I am going overseas next week and need to find a permanent home where Jack will be fully looked after and loved.  He really is a lovely dog with an excellent personality and a fantastic temperament.

If you would like to give Jack a home please ring NANNA on 01933 650372

SASHA has been REHOMED

Sasha is looking for a new forever home.

She is 3 years old and will be neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped.

Sasha lived with three children and she is a very loving dog.

She does not appear to be bothered around other dogs but has a interest in cats! Although she is not chasing them she will not leave them alone even after being warned by the cats! (A scratched nose is on the cards)

If you are interested in Sasha please ring us on 01933 650372 to arrange an appointment to come and see her.

Daisy has found her new forever home

Daisy, seen here with Keren, has landed on her paws with a family and is going to go to work with them too!

Izzy (REHOMED)
English Springer. Black and White
DOB August 2005

Izzy is a typical springer and is full of energy and can be quite manic at times. Once she receives attention she settles quite quickly.
She is apprehensive about people when meeting them and thus she needs to be allowed to approach people rather then be approached and once she learns to trust them she becomes her normal trusting and affectionate self.
Izzy does not have any experience with children and she is probably not suitable to be around younger children.
She is not used to being around other dogs and when she meets a new dog for the first time she attempts to be dominant.
Izzy will chase cats for fun but never hurt them however she will hunt & kill rabbits and rodents. When near roads she must always be kept on a lead.

(NANNA's Input: Izzy sounds just like our Lucy, dominate over other dogs, but lives with 8! Lucy also hates children but has never, biten or gone for them she just growls and barks, but as soon as you call her name she goes and lays down! Lucy also is worried when people come into our home or near our car as she thinks she needs to guard our territory but again call her name and she goes and lays down, but still watching.)

All Springers will return with an animal if allowed it is in their breeding it is not taught to them, the teaching is to tell them when to retrieve. Springers are fun loving, bouncy and need firm but kind handling.

If you would like to meet Izzy then please ring us on 01933 650372, Izzy has not got long to find a home because her owner is moving so please don't wait if you are interested in her she needs to find a home soon.

Honey the puppy Staffy REHOMED

Honey with her splint feeling sorry for herself!

Be warned she still can chew for Britian!

Piddle a river and poop a mountain!

But she is gorgeous.

You have heard of BOB the Builder!

Well now meet BOB the collie

REHOMED AND LIVING THE LIFE!

Bob needs to find a new home because his owner has gone on to greener pastures!

Bob is 12 years old and has been a very loyal loving dog who needs to find a home for his retirement years.

He is active and fun loving, on his lead he needs some training, but he is house trained and settles very quickly.

Bob is not used to children or other animals so perhaps a home with older children on his own would be good. It would also be best if someone is at home with him during the day, because this is what he is used to!

01933 650372 is the number to call if you can offer this gentle gent a home

Bosha has found a new home

Bosha Profile

Bosha is a neutered male, he loves to spend time with his humans once he has gained their trust and respect. He has been taught at an early age that he will have to spend a certain amount of time with out them in the vicinity. This he is more than happy to do whether in a crate, kennel or stable most happiest if left in his home. Where he will protect and serve his purpose as a loyal protector too owner.

He is a dog to whom is very intelligent and still learns quite quickly, good habits as well as bad,but having been brought up correctly he is a wonderful loyal and loving dog, who can not do enough to please whether you decide to show, work or just have him as a pet companion he will give you many years of enjoyment.

He is above all bred to be a dual purpose gundog i.e. he will find game, point it, flush it and then retrieve it for you, whether it be on land or in water. Command response to the whistle and silent arm. He requires a strong owner to take Alfa pack leader, as he also has a very keen nose (so don't leave your Sunday joint were a Bosha can easily reach it, or you will be having egg and chips for your Sunday lunch). He has a style which is breathtaking to see. He is , alert and extremely keen worker, but above all a very loyal pet companion too and not at all nervous.

Bosha walks very well with a full harness and lead. He has been trained to work so a chain collar or slip is not suitable.Though he is a big strong dog the ability to be able to walk him in all enviroments is of great pleasure. He maintains his posture and elegance through the streets as well as much as he does his muscular strength out in the field. He will also carry his own water and treats in a working harness.

Mixing with any type of animal has never been a issue for Bosha whether our four legged footed freinds or our human friends. His wish is too please all.

Bree is looking for an ideal home where is will have company most of the day, she will chew when left on her own.

BREE HAS FOUND A NEW HOME

Bree is a beautiful young lurcher looking for a new forever home. She was found wandering around Rushden and chasing the cars on the A45! Not a good idea, but Bree survived her experience and is looking for a home with a fun loving family and she would love to go where there are other dogs for her to chase and play with.

Bree is very good with children, cats and other dogs but not too good with rabbits and other small furry critters!

01933 650 372 is the number to call to come and see Bree.

Bree making herself comfortable at NANNA,s

Little Lola needs to find a new home

Lab x Staffy 10 months old needs to find a home where someone is at home most days.

She has just learnt what teeth are and when she is bored she will use them! She has been use to lots of walks but now her owner can no-longer dedicate the time.

Although Lola has not lived with children she enjoys them when she meets them and she enjoys playing with other dogs too.

01933 - 650372 is the number to ring if you feel you would offer her a walking home from home.

RILEY has found a home

Riley is a 2 year old border collie cross. He was born on 28th August 2006. His dad was a pedigree border collie and his mum was a heinz 57. He has a lovely temperament and is great with our children who are 10, 8 and 2. The one thing is with our 2 year old that is occasionally he will try to mount her if left to his own devices although he has never hurt her and obviously having his bits done would probably solve this.
I must say though that i don't believe he would ever hurt anyone as our 2 year old can remove anything from his mouth whenever she wants to and can pick up his food bowl whilst he is feeding and he will just back off from his bowl until she is away from it. I trust him completely with our children!
He is very energetic and needs lots of exercise. Unfortunately we no longer have enough time to give him the attention and dedication he needs so this is why he is reluctantly needing to find a new home. His vaccinations are up to date and he is wormed and flea treated. He is also micro chipped. He is very fit and healthy although he currently has a bit of a scabby nose. he has been checked out by the vet and the vet has said it is nothing to worry about. it is because he is digging more because he is bored because we haven't got the time  to walk him as often.
He is house trained and is used to being left during the day, although he prefers to be left outside rather than in the house. He is ok in the house but be aware that he will chew if he gets bored!

 NANNA input

Riley has been visited by a few people and their main concern is that Riley is so happy to see them that he jumps all over them!

This could be because he is only a young dog and that he is unneutered, so we have arranged to have him neutered and hope this will calm him down. He is a lovely dog with a huge personality, he needs further training and being a collie x, he will be easy to train and respond to commends.

The ideal home would be someone with time on their hands to take him to training classes and work him and your reward will be a dog so loyal that you will be mates for life.

01933 650372 is the number to ring if you would like to take a look at this dog, it would be worth it - he is a wonderful young dog with lots of love to give to the right family.

This little lady is looking for a new home REHOMED

Poppy has found her home REHOMED

She is 3 years old and loves a cuddle, she would suit most household, but always be aware if you have small children. She is sweet tempered and loves her walks and to chase a ball.

Poppy is terrier x spaniel and she will be neutered and micro-chipped.

01933 650372 is the number to ring to come and see her.

Risse has found his home.

Riise has found a wonderful home in Bedford and he is now sharing his new owners bed!

He has been neutered vaccinated and Micro-chipped and now happily settled.

Nelson and Emma need to find a new forever home together - Please help. REHOMED

They have been together for six years and are the best of friends.  They would enjoy a family (but not with small children).  Or, would be good company for an active retired person or couple.  They are not used to being left alone during large parts of the day – so if this was going to happen some arrangement would need to made for a walk in the middle of the day.

Nelson is 9 ¾ years old and a healthy, good-looking male Golden Retriever.  Emma is 7 ½ and an adoring, perfectly behaved Labrador bitch.  Both in very good shape and basically fit. Emma needs an injection every 6 weeks for arthritis but as long as this is maintained she is very energetic and speedy.

Their owners have both died in a very short space of time of each other and the dogs have lost everything, please help us to help them stay together

LOOK at this little face!

Just six months old and answers to the name

CHELSEA REHOMED

Chelsea needs a home where someone will be around most of the time! Her favourite hobby is to bark when left for too long.

She is very interested in cats but seems to be getting on well with the NANNA cats, so she could settle in a home with cats.

Chelsea needs to be trained, although she will sit and give a paw and will come back when called, she is very young and has not got any bad habits. If you are interested in offering this little cheeky face a new forever home please ring NANNA on 01933 650372.

Remember she is only a puppy and she will need lots of exercise and games to keep her amused, she is very sweet, house trained, but still has an odd accident.

Her ideal home is a family with lots of older children to take it in turns the wear her out!!!!

01933 650372

REHOMED

Scooby is a Colly/staff, he is 18 months old and full of energy. He is able to follow simple commands (sit, lay, paw, out etc). He can be very boisterous at times and he can also be quite dominating at times. As far as i am aware he has not been vaccinated and he has not been castrated either. He is good with children but can be protective. It has been known for him to snarl and jump up when being told off although this only seems to happen when my partner tells him, the more firm you are with him the less he reacts. He has been a bit of an escape artist since we have had him, he is constantly looking to explore and has on many occasions ended up in neighbours gardens but he does come back when he is called. we do not have a big garden so i think maybe he feels a bit restricted in our garden. He can be walked off his lead, he does wander but stays in sight and again he will return when called, he does tend to pull a bit if he sees other dogs and he is on his lead, however his tail is wagging and there is no aggresion or growling. He has come into contact with my neighbours dog and there are no problems, they just play. He has also chewed a few things since we have had him, mostly my shoes, again i think this is boredom as it has always been when myself and my partner are out of the house and he is on his own.

Young Staffy Alfie is looking for a new start in life

ALFIE HAS FOUND HIS NEW HOME

Are you at home most of the time and can you put a dog in a training pen when you are out?

Young Alfie has come into NANNA because he has chewed his way through the door frame in less than an hour!

He has a very sweet nature and temperment and he is looking for someone with the time and energy to match his own.

He hates being left and he can be destructive when left at home on his own, but a training pen should resolve that problem, with plenty of toys and bones to keep him occupied.

Please give him a chance he really will make someone an ideal companion.
