This page belongs to Ann and her babies!

Ann, thankfully, takes in a lot of the goldie oldies, these are cats that are usually over the age of 10 and anything upto 23 years young!

They could be cats with cattitude, opinionated, fussy, or just frightened and unsure of what is happening. Imagine being a cat who's owner has pampered and given everything you could possibly want. A quiet little life with someone you adore as much as they adore you, then suddenly, it's all gone, your owner, your home and people come and pick you up and pop you in a carrier and take you off.

Next thing you know is you have been put somewhere, a cage or a strange house with other cats and your life is upside down! You don't know what is going on, all you know is it's not what you are use to.

How do you explain to cats or any animal what is going on? You can't all we can do is settle them in, show them love and understanding for their funny little ways and hope they get through the upset.

A lot of other rehoming centres wil not take them in as they can use up the pens for sometime before finding a new home, if they ever do find a new place to live! Some people think it is cruel to take in the older ones because of the stress, what other option is there?

At NANNA we are lucky, we have Ann and she take in the cats that we have tried to rehome but due to their age they have not moved on, so they go to her and some do find new homes, others just live out their lifes in extreme comfort and pampered to their hearts are happy.

We do need to rehome some of these characters so

Please ring Ann on 01295 811320

be advised by her wisdom and knowledge about these cats, they deserve as much as kittens, new forever homes.

Worried you wont bond? Just go and see them and I know you will be surprised.

The General is a very funny chap

```````````He came to us because he was a stray and the people who had been feeding him got worried because the bad weather was on it's way.
The General has been an outdoor cat most of his life, he has a clipped ear which is a sign of being neutered whilst living outdoors!
He has never known home comforts but now he has them, he is not going to lose them! How old?
Who knows, but his teeth say 10+.
Interested? Then ring Ann on 01295 811320 and ask for the General.
Hi NANNA has called me Hopeful because they are hoping to find me the purrfect retirement home for me to treadle my paws.
I was found and no rescue home wanted me and the gent who found me was told to take me to the vets and have me put down. He then rang NANNA who said "Bring her in, we will find somewhere for her"
I am staying at NANNA"s for a short time to see if a home can be found for me and then I am going to NANNA Anne who will look after me until I go to chase butterflies in the sky.
Ideally I need to find a forever home where I will get one to one love and attention for my final years.
Please ring NANNA if you can love me,  01295 811320.
Hi my name is Purr-haps and perhaps I"m the cat for you!
I was also taken to the vets to be put down after I was signed over to another charity!
NANNA has taken me in because the only problem I have is my age, I am 15+, once loved but no more (other than by NANNA), I would just like to sleep on a cosy bed, chair or lap.
Please give me a thought when you are looking at all the wonderful cats/kittens NANNA has in their care! 01295 811320 if you can offer me a home for the rest of my life.
Rudi is another character who is looking for nothing but the best!
Rudi came to NANNA via another cat charity and has been with us a little while, he did find a new home but he did not settle and started to spray, which is not a good idea!
He need a quiet understanding home where he can be pampered and not stressed by what is going on around him, Peace and quiet with lots of love and cuddles thats all he wants!
Interested? Phone Ann on 01295 811320.
Pip is a male neutered Black cat he has a sleek oriential body, he loves being around other cats and loves being centre of attention, so if you are looking for a companion cat then Pip could be the one for you. Ring Ann on 01295 811320.
THIS FIVE ARE ALL LOOKING
 FOR A NEW FOREVER HOME
WE ARE ALL RE_HOMED
 Hi, we are all over 10 and we are looking for a new forever home or homes. We have come into NANNA because are owner became ill and has now left us for a brighter place. We all get on (sometimes), and NANNA would love to find us somewhere together but she will separate us if necessary.
Twiggy the male ginger is the eldest and he is approx 14 years YOUNG!  We have all been looked after and all we are looking for is a lap or two, a good size chair or five! Plenty and tummy tickles and hugs and in return we will purr, headbutt and fuss all over you.
  01295 811320 if you can offer any of us a home to call our own.
Quilt, is a patchwork light tortie and has just got over an operation to have cancer removed from her ears and is well on the road to recovery all she is looking for is somewhere to live out her life with someone other than Ann to love her.
Please keep looking on this page I am trying to update it and place more of the older cats on it.
Thank you!
