Just some of the little ones who are now chasing butterflies in the sky! RIP My little darlings xXx

LALA has passed away and is chasing those butterflies in the sky. You can see her here with her little friend Tinkey at Christmas 07 and they are 4 months old here!

Little tinkey has also passed away this week 14/02/08

Little Drib passed away in his sleep today!

RIP my purr-fect little souls xXx

Tigger has passed away RIP my man and chase those butterflies or just stay on a fluffy cloud and sleep xXx

Nelson has passed away too, he just collasped and died!

What little life he had, he had fun and lived it too the fullest

RIP my little man of mischief xXx

This is Charlie-boy and he sadly got killed by a car, he didn't have a brilliant life, born feral come to NANNA as a young man who hated being handled.
He had the worst tummy upsets I have ever seen, he only liked to eat mice! (Hence the upset tummy) He didn't groom himself but he became tame and loved a cuddle at night when everyone, except for me, was in bed. His favourite place was on the breakfast bar in his basket curled up with Rodder, Wizard Spudnik and Candy. It only has Candy surled up in it now the other three have died within a month of each other!
They were a little like Compo and mates from Last of the Summer Wine!

RIP Charlie-boy my blue eyed baby.

Old Rodders our very old boy has passed away, pictured here with Jorja (looking directly at the camera) and the late Freya. They are both now chasing those butterflies in the sky.
RIP old fella

Wizard Spudnik who past away peacefully at home at NANNA on 15th September 07 aged just three.

This little man gave so much love in his short life that I know he will be sadly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.

RIP my little man.

Tulip is chasing butterflies in the sky
Tulip died on Saturday 8th September and she is now chasing butterflies in the sky, you can just see Tulip amonst the flowers, where her ashes will be placed.
Where ever these little mite go it's a better place for having them!

We also have sad news about Squidgy our resident squirrel she was over seven years old when she passed away on Wednesday 5th September 07.
Squidgey

RIP MY LITTLE BABIES

Little Freya just before giving up the fight to live.
Freya came into NANNA as a little hand-rear with her brother Thor in 2005 and she was a very poorly little mite. Thor was stronger but neither was what you would call healthy.

Carla herself was having a bad time with her ME and had just come out of hospital the same day as Freya came in, Carla had 6 weeks bed rest to look forward to and she was given the task of hand-rearing these little ones.
Carla did a grand job all in all she had seven hand-rears come in and six survived. Freya Thor, Patch and Snoopy ended up staying with NANNA as they all had obvious signs of cornavirus. Patch is already chasing buterflies in the sky and now Freya has joined her and all the other little ones who's only crime was to be born unwanted!!!!!

PLEASE THINK BEFORE ALLOWING YOUR CAT TO HAVE KITTENS, THERE IS NO SHORTAGE OF KITTENS THEY ARE BORN DURING KITTEN SEASON
WHICH IS APRIL TO SEPTEMBER!

BETWEEN OCTOBER AND MARCH THERE ARE NO KITTEN OR VERY FEW THIS IS NOT BECAUSE THERE IS A SHORTAGE IT IS BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT BEEN BORN YET!

Ozzie
 RIP you wonderful young man

Foo has gone to kitty heaven!

After a happy little life Foo has given up his fight for life.

He just cuddled up on my lap and went to sleep!

I only realised he had gone after I went to move andI stroked him and he did not respone.

Such a peacefully death for such a little angel.
RIP my little angel.

Such a short life but leaving a huge gap to fill.

Patch a hand-reared kitten who didn't grow!
Patch loved her short life, she was only 13 months old when she passed away but she had so many little friends to play with.  RIP sweetheart

Sadly little Bobby Dazzler his sister Fern and Little Flower all gave up the same week and have gone to play elsewhere! They were all JUST 9 months old.
RIP my little ones

We have had so many little darlings that have not gone on to live for long, why?

Because people still insist on letting their animals have babies! If only they knew how many come into rehoming centres before their little life has even began.

Stress kills so many kittens it is called cornavirus which developes into FIP once they have FIP there is no hope!

  Please neuter your pet.

Misty passed away 19th April 2007

Misty for no apparent reason passed away leaving her two little kittens orphaned, the vets did a post mortem and came up with nothing.

It is so sad that her final days alive was in a rescue centre, a bonus was her two beautiful kittens she has left behind. If only she had been neutered her owners may have wanted to keep her!

RIP Misty you have found your forever home in the sky!

Sadly little Toni has joined her Mummy, Toni is the little tabby and white, it is always sad to lose any animal but there is always an extra ache when a life ends before it even starts.

Toni is now with her mummy cahsing butterflies in the sky.

      RIP little soul.

Robbie the very vocal cat has past away

Robbie a very gentle loving cats passed away at Ann's. He had a brain tumor and stopped singing on the 16/04/07. His little friend Lucy has been  reserved and may be going to a new forever  with Puma!

I have never come across a cat so happy as Robbie, always singing to us and giving lots of headbutts even though he was so poorly.

RIP old boy and sing to the Angels

Horror
Horror was a little 8 month old kitty-cat who needed an operation on both legs!

It was not meant to be!

Sadly little Horror has been run over and died.

We tried everything we could to get him strong enough for his operation, but he was a little horror and eventually is mischief got the better of him and at 6am on Wed 14/3/07 his short but very happy little life came to an end.

      RIP little mate xxx

Horror by name little horror by nature!

Horror's story
Horror and his little Shock were born at NANNA's in July 06 their mother was a Burmese and you can imagine the shock and horror when she saw her babies!

Horror's short life has been one thing after another, first he and his sister got ringworm from some little ferrel kittens, then they got cat flu'. They both got over this and on the day they were put up for rehoming little Shock, bless her, died. We had no idea what she died of but it was decided that little Horror would come into the house and live with us.

We have many little ones in our home and they all have something wrong with them and just play and eat until their time is up!

Horror has become a very good looking young tom, with lots of teenager cattitude, he has broken many ornaments, climbed many curtains, rearranged the bookshelves, beat up on any new youngest that come in and try to take over the laps.

It was during one of his mad, bad moments that we noticed he was having problems walking, we thought he had hurt himself but soon realised that he had a big problem, so off to the vets we go. The result was he had a boney growth on one knee cap and the other was moving and he would need to have an operation as he grows.

NANNA has so many animals has in and go out to new forever homes but, sadly some we can not rehome and they stay with us until they move on with the angels!

Norman, who is pictured, is one such little sweetheart who was born at NANNA's, with his sisters, Boring, Sweet Cheeks and Cotton-Bud. The whole litter were very different sizes and they were surviving but not thriving! Cotton-bud was the tiniest little bud I had ever seen, no-one thought she would make it to 8 weeks, but she lived until she was 8 months, Norman was a strong kitten, chunky but very quiet, very unusual for a kitten! He past away Easter 06, his two other sister are still with us, fingers crossed, hopefully for a very long time. This page is is for them the ones who could not be helped! All we could give them was a place to rest their paws, with food, water, a place to play with and love.

Norman 2005 - 2006

This page will sadly be updated.
