Rabbits we have in the past

Our rabbits have to go in pairs, to a new forever home which has to be a very large hutch with a run attached! Our bucks are neutered and both are vaccinated for myxi.

Please remember all our bucks are neutered but not our does

Our rabbits require a hutch (two tier preferred) with a run attached

Fern and Thistle looking for a home together

Hi our names are Fern and Thistle and we came to NANNA because we were no longer wanted because the children got bored with us!

We were paired up by NANNA and now we can't imagine what life would be like without each other. Fern had the worst life because when she got to NANNA she had not had any food for a week and was so thin and poorly NANNA thought they would loose her, but she pulled through and is now my doe and I love her to bits!

Please give us a home we are not a year old yet! Ring NANNA on 01933 650372 and ask for Fern & Thistle.

(Fern and Thistle are NANNA's PR rabbits and they are very well behaved and will sit on your lap, but please remember rabbits prefer to keep their four paws firmly on the floor).

Parsley and Lemon

Parsley and Lemon are two little Netherland dwarfs, mother and son, this time the owners bred the rabbits only to find they could not get homes for them so twenty rabbits later NANNA came to the rescue rescuing ALL the rabbits, neutering the boys. The bucks had fought amongest themselves, leaving each other without parts of the body they should have had and some did not need castrating as they had had the biten off! 01933 650372

Snowdrop and Henry REHOMED

Snowdrop is the black one with the white spot on her nose and Henry is a handsome albino buck. Snowdrop was so aggressive that she kicked the side out of her hutch when she came to NANNA and she then chewed her way through another cage after Henry was neutered we popped him in with her and know we get an occassional nibble on the arm but no more grunting or attacks when we handle her. 01933 650372

NANNA has over 80 rabbits looking for new forever hutches and runs!

NANNA can have up to 80 rabbits at any one time in our care
 01933 650372
NANNA does not always have time to update this page, so if you don't see something you like then why not

We also need hutches and runs for our ever increase family!

If you have a run or hutch you don't want to fill, then please ring us on
01933 650372

I'm sure we can fill it!

SOME OF THE RABBIT REHOMED SO FAR THIS YEAR
Worzel and Aunt Sally (rehomed)
Another beautiful pair of unwanted rabbits, who came into NANNA individually because they both out grew their hutches and their owners interest. 01933 650372

Rogan and Josh REHOMED

These two sweet little ones again came in to NANNA as no longer wanted and Rogans hutch was the size of a hutch only big enough for a very young guinea pig, not a rabbit  and he had fleas! Fleas are deadly to rabbits as they carry the myxi virus. Rabbits should be groomed on a regular basis and should be fleas every six weeks. They should have their myxi jabs at least once a year unless you live in a high risk area, then you should have them done twice a year. 01933 650372

Ariel and Pukka (rehomed)
Are looking for a hoppy forever home together, they are both unwanted children's pets.
When coming into NANNA (separately) neither could be handled due to boredom and bonding with humans rather than another rabbit. So we neutered Pukka (left) and paired him up with Ariel and they love each other and now they allow us to hold and cuddle them. 01933 650372

Bumble and Bee 01933 650372
Bumble is another unwanted pet bought for the children and Bee was an one of six unwanted babies, we neutered Bumble and pop him in with Bee and they buzz around their hutch together. These two are quite young approx 8 months old. Remember when you buy fully grown rabbit what you see is what you get. Babies can grow to be very larger rabbits!

Flash and Ajax, REHOMED

I can not express the anger I feel when yet another sad rabbit comes into NANNA no longer wanted by the children. They are NOT toys to be discarded when a newer model comes out and adults buy them so they should look after them, they should teach their children what a life is and it is not something you get bored with.

My daughter Carla went to school once with no drink in her pack up when she came home she was quite upset that she had no drink at lunch time. When I pointed out that her rabbits had no water when she went to bed the night before and they had no way of geting a drink, she just went oh!

She never left her rabbits without water again!

Is there such a thing as a dwarf lop?
Dwarf lops are just smaller lops compared to the Giant Lop!
So when you purchase a dwarf lop in does not mean it is a miniature rabbit just a smaller giant lop!

Thunder and Lightning

Thunder and Lightning are looking for a very large area to run and hop about in. They are very much a unique pair as one thumps loud and the other one is as fast as lightening! They are both Dutch Lightening is grey and Thunder is black! 01933 650372

If you can offer a home to any of our rabbits please ring us on 01933 650372
but remember they are for life!

SOME OF THE RABBIT REHOMED SO FAR THIS YEAR 2007

Tweedle-dum & Tweedle-dee REHOMED
Hi as you can see you can't tell us apart and NANNA kept us together because we are brother and sister, Tweedle-dum has been neutered and we live together and would love to find a new forever home perhaps with twins?

We have a funny habit of pouncing on our food bowl and knocking the food all over the cage, at first NANNA thought we were being missed but soon realised our game so no more second helpings for us!

We came into NANNA as babies last October so we are very young still.

Please come and see us, you will see how sweet we are and fall in love and take us home and love us forever!

Ring NANNA on 01933 650372 and ask for the twins!

Dot and Jim are looking for somewhere to spend their twilight years together! Rehomed

Hi my name is Jim and I live with Dot and she the one in front. We came to NANNA over a year ago and we are not youngsters like the others and Dot was a moody mare when she first came and I was underweight and neglected, so NANNA beefed me up and had me castrated and introduced me to Dot and it was love at first sight.

She is still opinionated but I love her and she better around humans now, she just needed a good man in her life!

If you can offer us a home, preferably an adult home please ring us on 01933 650372.
